A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, 1)

The sexy, action-packed first book in the #1 bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series from global phenomenon Sarah J. Maas.

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a terrifying creature arrives to demand retribution. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.

At least, he's not a beast all the time.

As she adapts to her new home, her feelings for the faerie, Tamlin, transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But something is not right in the faerie lands. An ancient, wicked shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it, or doom Tamlin-and his world-forever.

From bestselling author Sarah J. Maas comes a seductive, breathtaking book that blends romance, adventure, and faerie lore into an unforgettable read.

I didn't really know what I was getting into, but if you give it a chance and stick with it I think you will like it. The main character was had to like at first but then she changed my mind and now I really like her.

✨ My Review of ACOTAR ✨ Okay… I finally read A Court of Thorns and Roses and I totally get the hype. It starts off a little slow — I’ll admit I wasn’t sure where it was going at first. But WOW, once it picks up, I was hooked. The buildup? Chef’s kiss. I loved watching the character growth slowly unfold — you can just feel that something bigger is coming, and I’m 100% here for it. The world is magical, the tension is real, and the vibes are very much "fairy tale for grown-ups... with teeth." 🌹🖤 Other Reviews From My Imagination (but let’s be honest… these could be real): 🧚‍♀️ “I started this book because I thought it was about fairies… now I’m emotionally compromised and deeply invested in everyone's trauma.” — a reader who didn’t sign up for feelings 🔥 “10/10 would risk my mortal life again for mysterious fae men with secrets.” — probably me 📖 “Was I confused at first? Yes. Did I care once things got spicy and plotty? Absolutely not.” — someone who stayed up until 3am 👑 “This book is like a slow-burn fantasy soap opera and I ate it up like popcorn.” — your future self, once you’re 3 books deep If you’re into fantasy, romance, morally gray characters, and layered world-building, give ACOTAR a shot. Just be warned — it may awaken a slight obsession you weren’t ready for. 💫
